| Laura Lyn Walker Laura developed her love of nature growing up in Lake Tahoe enjoying the pristine meadows, lakes, and streams. At age fifteen she moved to Del Mar and stayed long enough to fall in love with the spectacular beauty of the Southern California coastline. In 1988 she returned to make her home in Encinitas. From an early age, Laura excelled in art and has enjoyed embroidery, pottery and leatherwork. Her preferred medium is now acrylics, which she uses to express her vision of San Diego landscapes and seascapes. She loves to paint familiar places from a new perspective. Her paintings are a reflection of famous surf spots as well as hidden treasures along the coast. Laura participates in many art events throughout North County and Central San Diego. She displays her art in her home studio, and in the galleries of the San Dieguito Artist Guild and the La Jolla art Association.
